They had snow shovels in stock and they assembled and sold 225 as fast as they could secure the handles. The Jefferson-Madison Regional Library Board budget committee announced Feb. 26 that it would recommend the closure of Scottsville Library and reduction of service hours at Crozet Library in response to Albemarle County’s proposed cut of $242,591 in its share of J-MRL funding. Schneller Takes Second at World Indoor Rowing Championship (0)

Carolyn Schneller of Crozet, in only her second year as a rower for the Western Albemarle High School crew team, took second place at this year’s World Indoor Rowing Championship at Boston University’s Agganis Arena at Feb. 14.
