Master Gardener Al Minutolo will kick off the opening of the Crozet Farmers’ Market with helpful workshops on how to grow great tomatoes. Al will discuss species and planting tips as well as how to establish weed barriers, mulch, irrigate, and feed tomato plants. The workshops will be held on May 2 and on May 9 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Crozet Farmers’ Market is located at the corner of Crozet Avenue and Jarman’s Gap Road in Crozet, in the gravel lot of the Crozet United Methodist Church. The market operates from 8 AM until noon.
