Augusta Health Internal Medicine Opens in Old Trail Village

Dr. Shelley Snodgrass, a Crozet resident, opened Augusta Health Internal Medicine in Old Trail Village Oct 22. She had been practicing with Augusta Health’s Waynesboro internal medicine office for the last three years and many of her patients from there have followed her to the Crozet location.
The new Crozet office has four exam rooms and is designed for one physician.
“It’s fabulous for me,” said Dr. Snodgrass. “I love being close to home and to work in the community. I see a broad range of patients—cardiac, hypertension and diabetes. I do a lot of primary prevention.”
Augusta Health opened the Crozet office “to improve access,” Dr. Snodgrass said. “We have a lot of patients from western Albemarle and northern Nelson already. We’re trying to expand our base. We plan on being here a long time.”
