The Girlfriends of Greenwood

Girlfriends of Greenwood held their fall sale October 3-4 at the Claudius Crozet Park Community Center.

The Girlfriends’ sales always include a food drive for a local organization. Their most recent sale produced 169 lbs. of contributed food from customers. The food was donated to the Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church food bank, which serves families in the Crozet area.

Their fourth show was very successful and the next will be in April 2010. The Girlfriends consist of eight antique dealers who meet once a month to discuss trends in antiques and home decorations. They have booths at Rockfish Gap Antique Mall, Greenwood Country Store, the Covesville Store, and the Greenhouse Shops in Ruckersville.
