Mr. and Mrs. Wood were united in marriage on June 20, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville.

Courtney is the daughter of Bob and Susan Wilson of Charlottesville. Chad is the son of Eddie and Marilyn Wood and the grandson of Wayne and Barbara Clark, all of Crozet.
