Blue Mountain Brewery held their first annual Hop Pickin’ Festival August 2. About 100 volunteers picked hops from the brewery’s on-site hop garden throughout the course of the day. Music was provided by Misty Strings and the Hop Pickers.

More than 110 pounds of the hops picked were used the day of the event to make a beer called Cascade Tribute, which will be available on tap this month at the brewery. The rest of the hops will be dried for future batches of the brewery’s famous Full Nelson.
