The Albemarle County Service Authority will be conducting a public meeting to present the St. George Avenue/Buck Road Water Main Replacement project. The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Crozet Elementary School Cafeteria.The proposed pipeline replacement project will replace the existing water mains, installed many years ago, with a water main made from stronger, longer-lasting materials which will not be as susceptible to water main breaks. The water main size will be increased and additional fire hydrants will be added to provide better fire protection coverage. The limits of construction are Saint George Street, St. George Avenue, Buck Road (from Saint George Avenue to Crozet Avenue) and Crozet Avenue (from Buck Road to Ballard Drive).
