Directed by Philip Clark
This is the second of two concerts offered this weekend due to the special nature of the program: namely, the U. S. debut of a beautiful Violin Concerto by Armenian composer Arno Babajanian that was lost during the fall of the former Soviet Union and restored to it’s former magnificence by CCO director of music, Philip Clark. The violin solo is sensitively interpreted and performed by Armenian American violinist Monika Chamasyan, who returns once again to the CCO for this special performance. You won’t want to miss it!
