Thou Shalt Not Steal, Deuteronomy 5:19

God gave Moses the Ten Commandments in Deuteronomy 5 and Deuteronomy 5:19 states neither shalt thou steal. After living in Albemarle County for over 50 years, I have been the victim of theft twice within the year. In October 2008 I had a ladder stolen from my property and here again in June 2009, I had the new ladder I purchased plus my pruners stolen. Being a widow I feel that my neighbors love me as the Bible states, “Love your neighbors as yourself,” that no one around stole my equipment. If someone felt they needed to use it, if they had knocked at the door and asked I would have been glad to share with them.

I hope if you are reading this, ask yourself these questions: Am I a good citizen? Am I a lover of my neighbors? Did I do unto others as I would have them do unto me? With loving compassion and a forgiving heart to whomever did this to me, I am praying for you and hope God will touch your heart.
