Fancy Nancy! I Just Love That Book!
Saturday, March 20, 10 a.m. For ages 4 to 6.

Does putting on a crown make you feel like a real princess? When you put on a pirate hat, can you taste the salt spray of the ocean? Is dressing up your thing? Come to the library for an afternoon of dress up and make-believe fun, for the first session of a new program series, “I Just Love That Book!” this time, celebrating Fancy Nancy by Jane O’Connor. Registration is required and begins Monday, March 1.

Turn Off the TV, Turn on Life! Participate in National TV Turn-Off Week
April 19 – 25. For all ages.

Fill out a TV Turnoff Pledge Sheet, pledging to reduce your normal amount of TV viewing.  Pledge sheets will be available beginning Monday, April 5.  Bring your completed pledge sheet in by Saturday, May 8, and receive a free gift book. Show that you turned off the television for the entire week, and be entered in a drawing for an special prize!

Playing with Poetry!
Saturday, April 10, 1 p.m. For ages 6 and up.

In honor of National Poetry Month, share some favorite poems, write a few and just have fun with words.  If you like, bring along a favorite poem or two (your own or someone else’s) to share. Registration begins Monday, March 22. Drop-ins welcome.
