The Crozet Garden Club had its second meeting on May 1, thanks to Mollie Washburne, at Old Crozet School Arts. The small but enthusiastic group discussed composting and critter control, and then decided that their first club project would be to landscape three Crozet locations: the triangle at the intersection of Rt. 240 and Rt. 250 at Mechums River, the triangle at the 240/250 intersection at the Miller School Road light, and the four-way stop in the center of town. Members also brought plant contributions for the Crozet School Roots and Shoots club and more are welcome. The club will meet again at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, at OCSA. Everyone looks forward to swapping plants, sharing information, and planning the beautification.
