jarmans-gapMaple trees fell in the yard of Paul and Marissa Minnerly along Jarmans Gap Road as crews from PennLine Services Inc. of Scottsville, Pennsylvania, cleared the new right-of-way July 16 to allow for utility poles to be moved. One of her trees was white pine with strands of Christmas lights on it. “We asked years ago for them to widen the road before Waylands Grant was built so that they didn’t have to take our trees,” said Marissa sadly. Improvements to the road, originally slated for completion in 1998, are now expected to begin in January.
