Violet Hazel Collier, 86, went home to be with the Lord, and her siblings on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
Born on September 3, 1934, in Orange, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Kays and Annie Lee Moubray. She was the baby of the family and was preceded in death by her brothers, Luther, Walter, Jim, Lewis and Kays “Jr” Moubray; sisters, Helen Richardson, Marie Thomas, Virginia Richardson, Lucille Dodson and Mildred Dowell.
She is survived by her children, Ronnie Collier and wife, Donna, of Ruckersville, Sandra Collier of Louisa, K. Scott (Buck) Collier and wife, Bonnie, of Louisa; grandchildren, Jennifer Hyde and husband, Brian of Lynchburg, Jenna Easton and husband, Chris of Charlottesville and Greg Collier of California; great grandchildren, Trevor Hyde, Collier Easton and Mattie Easton of Charlottesville; sister-in-law, Thelma Moubray of Madison; and good family friend, Gary Bolt of Troy.
