Pamela M. Shifflett, 61, of Crozet, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at her home, unexpectedly but peacefully. She was born on August 24, 1961, in Charlottesville, Va., to Carole Lee Maupin and David Joseph Maupin.
Pam was preceded in death by her sister, Terri M. Meeks and her husband, Montie Meeks; her stepmother, Carolyn Sue Maupin; and mother-in-law, Joyce Shifflett.
Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Timothy W. Shifflett “Buck”; her parents; father-in-law, Ronald Shifflett; special sisters-in-law, Tammy Seal and husband, Dougie, and Beth Rosson and husband, Phil Adkins; and a special brother-in-law, Greg Shifflett. Pam is further survived by four loving nephews, Jimmie (Sarah) and Kevin Rosson, Douglas Seal, and Cory Shifflett; three great nieces, Katelynn (Corey), Alicia (Justin), and Emaleigh Rosson; one great-nephew, Wyatt Rosson; one great great-nephew, Jackson; one great great-niece, Nora; and one great great-niece one the way, Olivia. She was looking forward to meeting her great great-nieces. She was very devoted to all of her fur babies.
Pam was a very special person with a loving and caring heart. She will truly be missed by all of her family and friends.
Pam loved spending time with family going to car shows and races, antiquing, fishing, and family gatherings. Pam worked at Albemarle County office building for 38 years. She started to work there after graduating high school and retired at age 55.
A graveside service was held on February 23, 2023 at Wesley Chapel Church, in Free Union.
