Wintertime De-icing Solutions That Reduce Potential Impacts

At 6:30 pm, Tuesday, December 6, The Center at Belvedere will host an in-person presentation by the Piedmont Master Gardeners on “Wintertime De-icing Solutions that Reduce Potential Impacts”. Participants will learn about smart choices for dealing with snow and ice that can reduce the impacts traditional de-icing chemicals can have on our landscapes and that are friendly to people, pets and our watersheds. Master Gardeners will present safe and effective ways to treat hard surfaces that avoid damaging herbaceous and woody plants and that help protect our waterways. This program is free and open to all.
